Finding the Leak

Common sources are a cracked spray-arm connection, a loose or perished door seal, a hose clamp that has let go, or a seep at the pump gasket. We locate and stop the leak, dry the base pan so the float drops, and then test a full cycle. Tipping the machine to drain the pan and clearing the code without finding the leak just brings E15 back, so we always chase the water to its source.
